Dear Colleagues,
Thanks to a large gift by Herbert Wertheim and his wife Nicole, the School of Music at Florida International University is once again able to offer graduate assistantships for our MM program including the music composition and music technology programs. Although somewhat late in the year if you should have any interested composition and/or technology students still considering an MM for the fall please have them contact me directly for the composition program or my colleague Jacob Sudol jsudol@fiu.edu for the Music Technology program. They can also visit our web pages at https://carta.fiu.edu/music/music-composition/ and https://carta.fiu.edu/music/music-technology/ The TA/GA includes tuition waiver and a stipend that covers a 20 hour/week related job within the School of Music. Applications will be reviewed through April 15.
Please do not hesitate to contact me or my colleague Jacob Sudol with the slightest question and/or to pass this on to anyone that might be interested.
Thank you so much for your consideration and interest.
Sincerely,
Orlando
